Promoting A Reel Slice Productions by using Web 2.0

Facebook

Through creating a Facebook account we are able to link our website to a wider audience. This gives others the opportunity to discover our website and even click a “Like” button if they want to keep in quick access of the site through Facebook. This allows people to keep dated on the progress of our site and our research development of our documentary.

Twitter

Twitter allows us to promote our documentary, by keep others updated of our every move. Our researcher of the group has taken the role to update our twitter account daily, while trying to gain followers on to our account.

Taglines

As part of the promotional aspects of our final project, we designed a poster and came up with taglines to go on it. As we were intending to focus on the comedic elements of Chris' story, we felt that the tagline should have a similar tone.

Seeing as the name of the documentary was "Hamster Man", which was inspired by the nickname given to him by the tabloid media, we wanted to use this idea as a theme, which would add to the comedy of the story.

The tagline we chose in the end was "Jesus wasn't the only one who could walk on water..." as we felt that the other ones sounded too much like bad jokes, and we also wanted to introduce a new theme which we could discuss in the film.
